The times are tough, and we know that. But here at The Daily Middle we are searching for solutions by analyzing the problems. We know what’s wrong. Our economy is dependent upon the creation of new businesses, which, in turn, will stimulate job growth (being that there are more jobs available). With that in mind, from an Entrepreneurial standpoint, if you were to start a business, geographically speaking, where would be the best place to start?
“The index ranks all 50 states based on public policy factors, including 36 major government-imposed or government-related costs like taxes, regulatory costs, government spending, property rights, health care and energy costs.” This is the list that they came up with, number 1 being the worst:
